Site description: On the east side of Convoy, north of Balboa and south of Dagget Street. This is a rather large Saturn dealership with multiple detached buildings.
Charger description: One pedestal charger on the northeast corner of the bridge on the north side of the service department building at the north end of the dealership. This one is most easily reached from Dagget.
There used to be a second pedestal charger on the south side of the used car department, up the ramp from the southwest showroom building off Balboa. This charger has been removed.
What to do while waiting: There's a Carl's Jr. across Convoy, and a 24-hour taco stand right next to the dealership. An Applebee's restaurant is nearby, along with an Office Depot and a few other daytime stores. North on Convoy are some ethnic restaurants. Just across Dagget is Jasmine, a Chinese restaurant. My personal favorite is Khyber Pass, an Afghan restaurant a block further north on the east side of Convoy.
ICEing: Rarely encountered. While there are often other EV1s parked at the chargers, the Saturn people are good at leaving room for a transient EV1. The area around the service dept charger is often used after hours by patrons of the Jasmine restaurant across Dagget.
